Cost saving tips!

  • Order a smaller wedding cake for everyone to see, then have a sheet cake of the same flavor cut to serve your guests.
  • Instead of having the traditional tiered wedding cake, use decorated cupcakes to make a wedding cake tower.
  • If your heart is set on a multi-tiered cake, check to see if using a decorated faux tier or two will help to defray the cost.
  • If you like the look of flowers on your cake, use fresh flowers. Be sure and check which flowers can be used.
  • Take several different pictures of your favorite cake styles with you when ordering your cake.
  • Be flexible to get the most cake for your money.
  • Be aware that cake toppers come in all shapes and sizesand can affect the cake you order.
  • Ask your groom about his cake. Are there any family traditions? A groom's cake can be fun, but not always neccessary.
